GORDON GRIFFIN
BECOMING AN ANTIRACIST, FOUNDER
Gordon completed his Bachelor of Music at Cedarville University in Ohio and went on to earn his Master's and Doctorate in Educational Management from Western Michigan University. Apart from his academic pursuits, Gordon is an enthusiastic reader, educator, musician, and gardener.
Now at the age of 79, he has added authorship to his list of accomplishments. Having lived and taught in the Black community for 53 years, Gordon has become a respected figure in his community. Despite his many years, he continues to engage in activities like painting, hiking, and enjoying music.
Family holds a significant place in Gordon's life, and he takes joy in the laughter of his grand and great-grandchildren. He holds a strong conviction that an end to racism is essential for the betterment of humanity, fostering creativity and productivity without the hindrance of discrimination. Gordon's life reflects a commitment to education, community, and the hope for a more inclusive future.
